Water Saving Rebate Programs

The San Diego County Water Authority and Solana Center for Environmental Innovation have teamed up to offer discounted rain barrels for only $90! These discounted rain barrels qualify for an additional $75 rebate*. Your final cost after rebate is just $15 per rain barrel!

Product purchases eligible for rebates include the following:

  • High-Efficiency Clothes Washers
  • High-Efficiency Toilets
  • Weather-Based Irrigation Controllers
  • Rotating Sprinkler Nozzles
  • Rain Barrels & Cisterns
  • Soil Moisture Sensor System

Online-Only Rebate Application System:  Customers must apply for a rebate online via the program website at www.bewaterwise.com or www.SoCalWaterSmart.com.

After confirmation, documentation must be postmarked within 60 days.  A copy of the rebate confirmation page, original sales receipt and a copy of your water bill are required.

Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last.
